RG Kar rape and murder convict to be sentenced by Indian court

A local court in India will sentence the man guilty of brutally raping and murdering a young medic in August last year. The crime at RG Kar Medical College in Kolkata had sparked widespread protests in the country when tens of thousands of doctors took to the streets demanding safer working conditions.
