Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that the hostages freed by Hamas have “returned home from the depths of hell in Gaza.” In a negotiated exchange, six Israeli hostages were released in return for Israel freeing approximately 600 Palestinian prisoners. Netanyahu emphasized that these individuals can now begin their journey of healing and recovery alongside their families. Meanwhile, the body of Shiri Bibas was also returned, following confusion a day earlier when Israel determined that a previously handed-over body was not hers.
