In this report by One Africa TV NewsOnOne’s Eric Mhunduru, the Independent Patriots for Change has accepted the Supreme Court’s decision upholding the Electoral Commission of Namibia and President Nangolo Mbumba’s move to extend voting days for the November 2024 elections. IPC President, Dr. Panduleni Itula, expressed disappointment with the ruling, stating that while the party feels aggrieved as a democratic institution, it will respect the rule of law like all law-abiding citizens. The Supreme Court dismissed the IPC’s legal challenge against President Mbumba and other respondents on Friday.
