Minister of Health and Social Services, Esperance Luvindao made her first public appearance with an unannounced visit to Katutura Health Centre at earlier this morning at 07h00.
The visit aimed to assess the real conditions on the ground, allowing her to hear firsthand from patients and healthcare workers.
During the visit, patients shared concerns about extended waiting times, delays in receiving test results, and the overall urgency of care.
Healthcare workers, in turn, highlighted the challenges of managing high patient volumes with limited resources.
The minister acknowledged the difficulties faced on both sides and emphasized the need for collaborative solutions to improve service delivery.
Luvindao assured that her office is prioritizing these concerns and will engage with relevant directorates to address them.
