The Pupkewitz Foundations has committed N$10 million to support national development and community upliftment across six sectors for the next 12 months.

Speaking during the Pupkewitz Foundation pledge press conference commemorating the 100th anniversary of the group in Windhoek on Thursday, the foundation’s chief executive officer, Merly Barry, said the funds will be directed towards six key pillars.

These include education, health, community care, environment, sport and arts & culture.

The pledge follows the Pupkewitz 100th anniversary celebration in July, a century of service to the Namibia community.

Barry added that they are committed to work hand-in-hand with stakeholders to implement this pledge.

Founded in 1925 by Max Pupkewitz as a humble general dealer near Ausspannplatz in Windhoek, the business has grown into a national powerhouse across multiple sectors, from construction and agriculture to vehicles, energy, and hospitality.
