India has approved a $5 billion support package for exporters affected by tariffs imposed by the United States. In August, President Donald Trump raised tariffs on Indian goods to 50%, prompting concerns among businesses reliant on the US markets.

The package aims to cushion exporters from the impact of the increased duties and ensure continued trade stability. Rebecca Bundhun reports from Mumbai.
