Namibia and Angola Sign Cross-Border Asset Deal

The governments of Namibia and Angola have signed a landmark Asset Sharing Agreement, allowing them to jointly recover and share N$3.3 million in unlawfully acquired assets under Chapter V of the UN Convention Against Corruption. The agreement was signed by Namibia’s Minister of Justice and Labor, Fillemon Wise Immanuel, and Angola’s Attorney General, Hélder Fernando Pitta Grós.
