MoHSS begins mass recruitment

The ministry of health and social services has begun a nationwide recruitment drive aimed at strengthening health services and supporting health facility decongestion across the country.

The ministry on its social media pages announced that it has worked together with the finance ministry and the National Planning Commission and through savings, prudent work and reallocation of funds, more than 2000 people will be absorbed by the ministry.

Of these 1713 clinical and 337 non-clinical staff will be targeted towards improving staffing levels in hospitals, health centres, and clinics.

In addition, the ministry has introduced fast-track recruitment measures such as mass advertisements and a shortened application period.
