Boy (16) stabbed while trying to separate a fight

A 16-year-old boy is in critical condition after he stabbed on Saturday while trying to help his friend at Epako, Omaheke Region.

According to police, the victim sustained stab wounds to the back and stomach while trying to rescue his friend who was involved in a fight.

It is alleged that the suspect fled the scene.

The injured teenager has been transferred to a hospital in Windhoek, where he is receiving medical treatment.

No arrests have been made, and police investigations continue.
