The accused Nyambe Calvin Matomola, John Mwelwa and Nziye Lusinyize were arrested on Friday and Monday and charged with being in possession of a total of 39 elephant tusks. Matomola’s case was postponed to 14 February 2024, while Mwelwa and Lusinyize’s case was postponed to 13 February 2024, both for further investigation.
