Senior government officials are reportedly inclined to reject a proposal to fly President Hage Geingob’s body across the country for citizens to pay their last respects. Concerns over safety risks and logistical challenges have been cited as reasons against the idea. A government source emphasized the numerous risks involved in such a plan. While the proposal was allegedly discussed within the funeral planning committee, indications suggest it will not be entertained.
