After analyzing the problem, Cathy suggests planning how to overcome it. This involves creating an action plan outlining the steps needed to address the stressful situation. Taking action is the fourth step in the process. Implementing the action plan allows individuals to actively work towards resolving the issue.

Once the situation has been addressed, Kambanda emphasizes the importance of evaluating the outcome. Reflecting on how the situation was handled provides valuable insights for future stress management.

She also recommends various stress-relief techniques, such as taking a walk, exercising, spending time with loved ones, or engaging in activities that bring joy. Breathing exercises, such as counting to 20 and practicing mindfulness, can also help alleviate stress in the moment.
