UNAM launches child research initiative conference

The University of Namibia, with support from the Ministry of Gender Equality, Poverty Eradication, and Social Welfare, has launched the Child Research Initiative and Training Conference. This initiative aims to tackle challenges in foster care for children under 18. Themed “Thriving Children and Families,” the three-day event focuses on improving child and family well-being through evidence-based strategies. Dr Ndilimeke Nashandi the project leader for the child research initiative and training at the University of Namibia explains.
