Prosecutors in Donald Trump’s hush money case say they are open to delaying the president-elect’s sentencing, but would oppose dropping the case completely. In a court filing on Tuesday, the Manhattan district attorney’s office agreed to postpone next week’s sentence. Trump was found guilty by a jury of falsifying business records earlier this year – but his victory in the US presidential election has complicated proceedings. Sally Patterson reports from New York.
