Government to relocate displaced Angolan vendors

The government will support displaced minor street vendors from Angola by relocating them from Windhoek to the Ondangwa National Youth Service Centre, where they will receive temporary housing and support. The vendors, previously unseen in February, are reappearing at traffic lights and malls. Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security spokesperson Margaret Kalo.

U.S. Ambassador to Namibia strengthens conservation efforts

U.S. Ambassador to Namibia Randy Berry has completed a five-day tour of Namibia’s southern coastal region, visiting Oranjemund, the Tsau ǁKhaeb National Park, and Lüderitz from 13 to 17 May 2024. NWR announces historic profit, and clean audit

Namibia Wildlife Resorts Board and Management have presented the SOEs annual report to the Ministry of Finance and Public Enterprises, Ipumbu Shiimi, today. NWR announced a historic N$46 million profit and clean audit reports for two consecutive years with an increased revenue of 32%, from N$294 million in 2022 to N$387 million.
