Floods cause 22 schools in Oshana, Omusati and Ohangwena to suspend classes

Over 22 schools in the Oshana, Omusati, and Ohangwena regions have suspended classes due to flooding water streams. 8 people die, 5 others injured over 4 years in electricity supply sector

The Electricity Control Board (ECB) says eight people died, and five others were hospitalised in 17 incidents involving the electricity supply industry. Masilingi injured ahead of World Athletics Indoor Championships

The Namibian athlete Beatrice Masilingi suffered an injury just before her race at the World Athletics Indoor Championship in China. Masilingi who reported fell, injured her shoulder while warming up, forcing her to withdraw from her heat.
