  One and a half million people have been evacuated from India's Eastern coast as cyclone Dana made landfall on Friday. The storm is causing heavy rains and has disrupted air and road traffic. According to India's meteorological department, a cyclone is expected to make landfall between Thursday and Friday, on India's eastern coast. Flights and train services to and from two of India's eastern states have been suspended as the region braces itself for heavy rainfall and gusty winds reaching upto 120kmph.
