  The United Nations says more funding is needed to aid its efforts in Syria. The UN Security Council heard on Wednesday that close to 13 million people are facing acute food insecurity.   The US Supreme Court will hear arguments next month about whether TikTok should be banned. The Chinese-owned social media app is facing a January 19th deadline to be sold, or face a ban in the United States.     The suspect accused of killing a top healthcare insurance official has been charged with murder in New York Luigi Mangione was indicted on 11 counts on Tuesday, including first-degree murder and murder as an act of terrorism.
