‘Critical failures’ led to Uvalde school shooting in Texas

A US government report released Thursday details the "critical failures" in the delayed police response to a school shooting in the state of Texas. The Justice Department's investigation found children's lives could have been saved if law enforcement officers had acted sooner. In May 2022, a gunman opened fire at a primary school, killing 19 students and two teachers. Sally Patterson has more.
